Our Customer Service Professionals answer our busy phones and accurately and efficiently place orders for our customers. Our goal is to "Help Our Customers Succeed" by providing excellent customer care.

This is a call center customer service position responsible for customer order entry and related customer support.
Pay Type: Salaried

Work Location: Charlotte, NC
The Schedule: 2pm-10:30pm. There is a split week schedule, weekends and rotating holidays.
High school diploma
One (1) year experience in a sales/food related position preferred.
General understanding of distribution and warehousing procedures preferred.
Must be computer literate
Proven ability to communicate effectively in a positive manner, provide follow through on directions and organize orders effectively to satisfy the customer's needs.
Bilingual (English- Spanish) a Plus
Receive customer calls and accurately input orders into the system
Identify customer needs
Maintain existing customer base through effective customer service skills.
Foster solid working relationships with other departments and customers
Follow through with customer request.
Understand edit procedure and read voicemails.
Maintain open communication with the outside sales reps.
Introduce new items to customers.
Suggestively sell products and promotional items.
Input orders into computer system accurately and repeat the order back to the customer.
Advise customers of operations procedures at FreshPoint special orders, call-in, cut-off).
Review new orders on a computer daily.
Notify sales reps of new customers/lost customers immediately after knowledge.
Notify customers of any activities that may result in late delivery.
Notify Customer Service Manager of new customers/lost customers immediately after knowledge.
Notify customers of backorders.
Able to answer phones and enter data into the computer system. Ability to sit, stand and walk orders through the warehouse
