Provides SME consultation and support for integration efforts by performing comprehensive analysis such as merchandising analysis, shared customer analysis, and identification of key considerations for MDAs for review.
Leverages knowledge of target customer products and pricing strategies; facilitates pricing process for item transitions to align with identified targets of M&A deal (s).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with and support the cross-functional teams, participate in all working group meetings
Use thoughtful, probing questions during functional due diligence to identify and confirm synergies, dis-synergies, and raise / escalate any deal risks
Assist functional leaders in developing integration plans designed to achieve deal synergies while minimizing business disruption
Review and validate data and analyses underlying synergy assumptions and plans
Assess the level of change management required and validate with the Integration Project Manager that post-close execution plans are in place to support
Work closely with corporate and market merchandising teams to plan and understand the item transition process
Engage the field sales and merchandising teams, supporting and training them as necessary, enabling their work through the process
Drive Sysco Brand adoption, corporate billing conversion, and CatMan conversion, and sales force engagement
Track progress and move quickly to address obstacles that might delay deal synergy realization
Understand the deal model rationale, assumptions and integration project plan
Identify, aid in the resolution of, and escalate integration issues as needed
Serve as a point of contact for the acquired company, fielding questions, connecting resources, and getting answers
Deliver a consistent, positive, customer-first message to the field
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
4 year bachelor’s degree required
Advanced degree (MBA or other) preferred
5 years of industry experience with 2+ years of Sysco experience working in a finance, project management, or communications role preferred
Working understanding of all areas of the value chain: procurement, sales and marketing, field execution, and corporate functions
Experience presenting to executive leadership in a thoughtful, compelling manner
Experience working with complex, multi-dimension teams in fast paced, dynamic environment
Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal and visualizations
Ability to think and act proactively rather than reactively
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
This position can be performed from the Corporate facility.
Must be able to do limited travel to Sysco facilities or operating companies.
If working remote, must have required software to ensure timely communications and have a dedicated work space free of any distractions and participate in conference calls in a business friendly environment.
