Basic Job Concept:

Maintain existing corporate/multi-unit business finding opportunities to help the customers succeed. Generate case growth by increasing specialty times, local items, and farmers markets for customers.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Consistent contact with key multi-unit customers and regional directors.

  2. Coordinate farmers markets for Avendra, Entegra, Sodexo, Aramark Customers

  3. Manage day to day multi-unit business.

  4. Plan Menu change meetings with Customers

  5. Manage menu changes with buyers and key customer contacts

  6. Plan Regional Director meetings with customers

  7. Coordination of customer events/new openings/samples.

  8. Work with purchasing to ensure all contracted items are in house and all substitutions are approved, communicate usage changes.

  9. Manage the sub request process for all Multi-Units including Darden, Brinker, and BBI.

  10. Track customer visits on a daily basis.

  11. Schedule customer visit schedule 30 days in advance

  12. Coordinate and communicate customer concerns with appropriate departments.

  13. Visit customer base addressing service issues and providing market information

  14. Manage Farmers Market props in inventory

  15. Lead farm tours for customers which needs to be scheduled 30 days in advance.

  16. Manage all order guides for CMU’s

  17. Work with the pricing coordinators on new items

  18. Work with Accounting and Buyers on setting up new items for LTO’s and Menu Changes

  19. Take over marketing responsibilities for local and specialty items.

Educational Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

  2. Secondary education preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  1. One (1) year experience in a sales related position.

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed indoors in a climate controlled office environment at a desk or table requiring sitting, standing and stooping; and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The employee is occasionally exposed to congested and high traffic areas and moving mechanical parts and vehicles, including but not limited to forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk behind jacks, and hand carts. The employee is periodically exposed to varying climates with temperatures ranging from zero to ninety-five degrees Fahrenheit.
